Yoritomo Iwashi was a magistrate and bushi of the Mantis Clan.
Fighting the Crane[]
In 1198, during the Mantis-Crane War in the Colonies, Iwashi was part of the Mantis forces who attacked Tsukareru Sencha Mura and defeated the Crane. His companion Tsuruchi Nariko took out the taisa Daidoji Katsutomo before the fighting even begun. They regreted Nariko did not kill magistrate Kakita Ichigiku, who had killed Iwashi's cousin in an impromptu duel in the Empire. [1]
Death[]
During the Battle of Ten Thousand Martyrs Iwashi was onboard the Third Kama, when Crane saboteurs boarded it. Iwashi was killed to save the life of the Mantis commander Yoritomo Emoto. [2]
