Yoritomo Isoshi was a bushi of the Mantis Clan. [1]
Toshi Ranbo[]
Isoshi was the gunso of Yoritomo Utemaro and present in Toshi Ranbo during the Khan's assault upon the capital in 1169. [2]
Test of the Emerald Champion[]
Isoshi took Yoritomo Buntaro's place as a contestant at the Test of the Emerald Champion in 1169 after the later withdrew from the tournament, citing his fear of Kakita Noritoshi's skills. [3]
Death[]
He was killed by Kakita Hideshi in an unsanctioned iaijutsu duel without witnesses in Mura Sabishii Toshi 1171. Isoshi's spirit streamed towards the Talisman of Gaki-do bore by Hideshi, and made itself a part of it. [4]
