Yogo Toshiki was a shugenja of the Scorpion Clan who joined the secretive kuroiban. In 1159 as a final test, the Yogo Daimyo Yogo Koji took the student with him to the court. In the shadows Toshiki was taught by Koji how to spy another people conversations using the air kami, risking his own safety if the disturbance of the elements were noticed. Toshiki learned to deal with adversity, because if he could not another should deal with it in his place. [1]
