In the Yodotai Invasion of Senpet lands the Yodotai empire crushed the Senpet. It was a lengthy and bloody war, spanning 20 years from 1140 to 1160.

Preamble[]

In 1132 during the Shattering of the Jewel the Erba'a Alliance was formed by several groups of the Burning Sands, and also the foreigners Yodotai. Despite they were defeated with the Senpet garrison aiding the defenders of Medinaat al-Salaam, the Pharaoh Hensatti realized this Empire could become a threat to her Empire. She took the command of the Senpet legions and began to prepare for the ensuing war. [1]

Yodatai Invasion[]

In 1140 the Yodotai Legions crossed the Senpet border. It seemed they knew all the tactics and strategies the Senpet put on the field, and the enemy inexorably gained foot on her lands. In 1160 the Great Eye of the Desert was conquered and the Pharaoh Hensatti died in the fight. [1] The Yodotai Warlord Aurelian called forth the spirit of the all previous Warlords to his side during the final assault into the Senpet capitol. [2]

Aftermath[]

The Senpet were absorbed by the Yodotai Empire in the end, but about half of its most elite forces went into hiding and led a guerrilla war against the Yodotai. In Medinaat Al-Salaam surviving Senpet leaders, such as Kesseth, plotted against the invaders. They hid within the local Senpet population, a mix of refugees, Yodotai collaborators and families settled from the time of Caliph Hanan Talibah. [1] Galerius was assigned as the governor of the Senpet lands. [3]
