Mountains of Regret was a range south of the Phoenix lands. Cutting through this chain was the aptly named Treacherous Pass. [1] The Mountain of the Sun Goddess was located in the southern part of the range. The mountains were infested by aggressive centipedes, and they also hosted to all sorts of Rokugani creatures that made passage through the peaks particularly dangerous. Rumors of trolls and goblins hiding in the cracks and crevices were told by travelers. [2] The River of the Sun was born in the southern reaches of Yama no Kuyami. [3]
