The Water Hammer Technique was developed by Tamori Hiroko at the City of the Mountain's Anvil. The method involved summoning and shaping Water kami as a hammer, and tempering the steel at just the right moment with the water while striking at it with the force of blunt iron. Water Hammer Swords were rare to find, and carrying such blades was a status symbol even for the Kakita. [1]
