Water Hammer Swords were the blades crafted with the Dragon Water Hammer Technique, developed by Tamori Hiroko. The method involved summoning and shaping Water kami as a hammer, and tempering the steel at just the right moment with the water while striking at it with the force of blunt iron. The swords were rare to find, and carrying such blades was a status symbol even for the Kakita. [1]
