Utaku Yanmei was a Junghar bushi Battle Maiden of the Unicorn Clan.
Khan's Defiance[]
Yanmei fought at the Battle of Toshi Ranbo in 1169 during the Khan's Defiance. She led a small force of fifty Unicorn against a Crane estate defended by the Crane Clan Champion Doji Domotai during the battle, but was killed because she underestimated the Crane's defenses. [1]
