Ugoie was a monk of the Order of Osano-Wo. In the year 531 he challenged the Kuni Daimyo Kuni Watabe to a wrestling match, for his support of the Order of the Five Rings sect, which was in open dispute with the Fortunist sects. During the combat Watabe slipped and his neck was broken. Ugoie was murdered by a followers of the Five Ring teachings, and the local Fortunist temple was burned. [1]
