Tsuruchi Yakusho was a bushi scout of the Mantis Clan. He served in the lands formerly known as the Ivory Kingdoms. [1]
Second City[]
Yakusho was one of the few Mantis who were allowed to remain in the Second City, after the Imperial Governor of the Colonies Otomo Suikihime banished them from the Second City for their actions during the Mantis-Crane War in the Colonies. [2]
Death[]
In 1198 during the Siege of the Second City the Ninth Imperial Legion had breached the city walls, and some samurai decided it was the end of the Governor's rule and made choices of pure opportunity. Yakusho was caught attempting to contact the Imperial Legion in the north, and strike down by the Head of the Second City Guardsmen Akodo Tsudoken. Yakusho's brother, Tsuruchi Yashiro took vengeance during the fight, when he wounded and captured Tsudoken in the Temple District. [2]
