Toshi Tetsuharu, or the Iron Crane City, was named for the unusual coloring on the water-birds who lived there and fished at the coast nearby. While it was called a city, it was in truth no larger than any village of it's time. The people who lived there however had a very prosperous fishing industry, and would supply much fish to neighbouring villages. As such, no-one thought to question their claim as a city. Toshi Tetsuharu was destroyed during the War Against Fu Leng, being one of the first targets in Phoenix lands. The attack opened Isawa's eyes to the threat that Fu Leng posed, and he committed his finest students to aid in the war effort. [1]
