Togahi Asai was an Ise Zumi of the Dragon Clan.
Abandonment[]
Asai was the daughter of two merchants who ran their business at Kyuden Tonbo. After the Lion Clan destroyed the Dragonfly, her parents found that they could not support their entire family of five. As a result, Asai was left on the steps of a Togashi monastery before they traveled to Crane lands looking for a new start. [1]
Ryoko Owari[]
Eventually, Asai would leave the monastery grounds and travel, like a number of other famous Ise Zumi had. Eventually, she found herself in Ryoko Owari, where she observed gamblers playing a game. Joining in, she found a talent for Fortunes and Winds and soon amassed a small fortune herself. Over the next year, she traveled to various gambling dens, enjoying the company as much as she enjoyed the game. [2]
