Tiān Shān, the Bridge to Heavens, was the capital of Yún Fēng Guó, the Land of Four Rivers. One of these rivers flowed just west of Tiān Shān, and it had inherent magical properties, used to create unrivaled potions. Defiling the river with refuse was punishable by death. Most of Tiān Shān consisted of a single, massive mountain that twistsed towards the Heavens. It boasted three ornate doorways carved from the mountain itself, with countless others sprinkled between the main tiers. There were two temples and one palace. Stairs snaked up the mountain in every direction. Two jewel-encrusted stairways converged near the top in the shape of dragon whiskers and led to the grand temple. Due to the mountain's proximity to the magical river below, many who lived in Tiān Shān worked as alchemists. [1]
