The Keep of Final Regrets was the former headquarters of Moto Tsume, from which he began his campaign against the Shadowlands, leading to their defeat and subsequent rebirth as the Dark Moto. The keep was located near the Fallen Chrysanthemum Lake. [1] It was originally named Thundering Tide Keep. [2]

After the defeat of the Dark Moto by the Unicorn Clan, the corrupted survivors retreated towards the Fallen Chrysanthemum Lake. They found that the Taint which had sustained them was leaving their bodies and souls, and so they began to decay. Some of them took refuge in the keep where they were slaughtered by a force of ogres and trolls sent by Jigoku. [1]
