The Three Gods Whose Names Cannot Be Spoken, according to the Rokugani pantheon, came at the same time the Heavens were created. They decided to bring form to the earth below, and using their names they created a young man and woman, who later would be known as the Moon, Onnotangu, and the Sun, Amaterasu. The children would give the earth shape and form. After they lost their names no more could be spoken of them. [1] These three being were labeled Kotoamatsukami (distinguished heavenly gods). A few scholars did refer to them as the Central Master, the Master of Uppermost Creation, and the Master of the Low. [2]
