The Quest was the collective name given to the jinn that had merged with the Khayel. These Shadow-Jinn were entities plagued with near-uncontrollable urges to devour, to return everything to the primal essence from which it came. [1]
Organization[]
The first of the Quest was Israk, brother of Kaleel, the Jinn Lord. The Quest lived in a citadel not in the mortal realm. They had a contact with the mortal realm, Lurza, also known as the Quest. [1]
Fighting Kaleel[]
The Quest could not enter the Burning Sands, but when the Sayel Blade was discovered, they sensed it and sent Lurza to the Celestial Alliance's citadel. The blade was a nemuranai made with part of the Nothing, and the Khayel wished to recover it. During the ensuing fight between Kaleel's Legion and the Alliance, Israk, one of the Quest and Kaleel's brother, opened a portal that linked the Quest citadel with that of Kaleel, the Jinn's Citadel. Finally comprehending Kaleel's treachery, the Quest surged through the portal, sweeping through the throne room and blotting out the senses one by one. The Quest arrived to take possession of the Sayel. Israk opened another portal that would funnel everything they touched into the realm of the heavens using the ancient Hakhim's Seal. [1] Sayel devoured Kaleel and his armies, but at great cost. After unmaking the Jinn, the Sayel threatened to spiral out of control, until Israk managed to funnel it into the heavens, where beings greater than those of our world could hope to oppose it. [2]
Final Demise[]
Sayel and the Quest were trapped where they could not threaten anymore, and the Alliance also traveled to the stars to fight him. [1]
