The Highwayman

The Highwayman was an RPG adventure first played at GenCon Indy 2019, a short adventure into the Shinomen Mori in search of a lost sake shipment.

Synopsis

Gaijin foreigners, rōnin, and peasants are hired to investigate sake deliveries stolen. The party had spent several months working small jobs for Ito Moronoka, a simple merchant. He would pay at six koku apiece for tracking down an absent courier and some missing sake. They set out for the small town of Kawacho, and the trail led into Shinomen Mori, where the mythical Highwayman operates. Is this a bandit or a supernatural creature?
