The Temple of the Rising Dragon was located in a secluded corner of the Temple District at the Second City, the city's home for the Tattooed Monks of the Dragon Clan. Peppered with gardens and shrines, the serene temple served to the Togashi's study and pursuit of enlightenment, as a place of solace for high-ranking courtiers from other factions. [1]
Destroyed and Rebuilt[]
In 1198 the temple was surrendered to the Ninth Imperial Legion during the Siege of the Second City. [2] In 1199 it was burned to the ground during the riots provoked by P'an Ku's madness, [3] and rebuilt after the order was restored. [4]
