The Temple of Lost Gods was built by the Phoenix Clan in in the first year of the reign of Hantei XVII, dedicated to the Fortunes created by abuse of his position as Emperor by Hantei XVI, the reviled Steel Chrysanthemum. It was the only place dedicated to these 'lost' Fortunes, as the Fortune of Torture of the Fortune of Dung, otherwise ignored in both the mortal realm and in Tengoku. [1] These Fortunes were known as the Lost Gods. [2]
