The Temple of Daikoku, also known as Temple of the Fortune of Wealth and Generosity, was a massive temple located in the Temple Quarter of Ryokō Owari Toshi. [1] At the height of an enormous camphor tree hung a dazzling spherical mirror crowned with a golden ringof fiery rays. The mirror rested on a thick brass minaret in the center of the temple's limestone courtyard. Several shrines were found there, including one devoted to Onnotangu, the Moon. [2]
