The section on Kaimetsu-uo is incorrect, since Osano-wo's murderer hid in Shiro Shiba, not Kyuden Isawa. (3E p. 10) LeilaDaegil 02:23, January 31, 2010 (UTC)
- You're right. There are conflicting stories here. Can you see if there are any more sources that confirm the location to either Shiro Shiba or Kyuden Isawa? Until we know which one is right for sure, we can't say which is which in a conflict template. Nice catch.
- Shiro Shiba: 3E p. 10, SotMA p. 7
- Kyuden Isawa: WotPH p. 109, WoSHI p.103
- The three above are the only ones I've found so far... --Majushi 16:03, January 31, 2010 (UTC)
Other Source[]
The only other referrence I found was in Way of the Thief, p. 13: "Death of Hida Osano-wo" A Kolat master attempting to use blackmail for personal gain threatens to shame Osano-wo by revealing information about his favorite general. Osano-wo laughs and attacks him. The Kolat master defends himself with a blade coated in a very deadly poison. Horrified at what he has done, he runs to the north, but is barred from the Hidden Temple for his foolish behavior. At Shiro Shiba, Osano-wo's son finds the assassin and takes his vengeance, never knowing how close he has come to finding (and destroying) the Kolat.

"Lightning led the way through the high seas as the wind threw spray into the faces of the soldiers. Although the Isawa called to the spirits of the air and water, no magic at their command turned back the mighty storm. Kaimetsu-uo's men landed on the beaches and made their way toward the enchanted walls of the palace, unafraid. Despite the wind, the Phoenix bindly hurled spears of flames and pillars of stone down upon the advancing army. [...] When they reached the gates of Kyuden Isawa, only fifteen brave samurai still lived." -- Way of the Minor clans, page 11.
The action is obviously in Kyuden Isawa (name and use of magic), but it make Kyuden Isawa near the sea ! Shiro Shiba is on "the northern stretch of the Phoenix shores" (SotP p. 66)
For me, the information from the first edition are wrong, and corrected in the 2nd or 3rd

- So we're agreed? Kyuden Isawa was the original source, but it has been corrected to Shiro Shiba? --Majushi 18:44, January 31, 2010 (UTC)
Sounds right to me. LeilaDaegil 15:08, February 1, 2010 (UTC)
Winter Court - 1120[]
Way of the Wolf page 74 claims Kyuden Isawa hosted Imperial winter court when Akodo Toturi was the Lion Clan Champion, which was between 1120 to 1123. 1121 and 1122 are already occupied with known winter courts, so the only vacant was 1120. Oni no Pikachu (talk) 21:11, July 18, 2012 (UTC)
