Suzume Hiroshi was a bushi of the Spider Clan who had infiltrated into the Sparrow. Daigotsu Makishi was the effective ruler of the Suzume, and Yutaka became part of the honor guard assigned to the Sparrow Clan Champion Suzume Ryosuke. When in 1199 Ryosuke attempted to flee the Suzume Hills alongside Moshi Rukia, Captain Suzume Yutaka and Hiroshi took care of Suzume Manabu, his champion's only loyal guard. They were foiled by Daigotsu Ryudo, known as Suzume Tatsu, who had become loyal to the Sparrow. Yutaka was cut down by his own kin, and the Spider infiltration came to an end shortly after. [1]
