Suzume Hideyo was a poet of the Sparrow Clan.
Training[]
Hideyo was invited to the join the Kakita Artisan Academy after a visiting Crane diplomat overhearded one of his poems. There he faced mockery for his lowly birth and “countryside” mannerisms, but the honorable and charming young man also made several loyal friends. [1]
Naishou Province[]
Hideyo wandered the Empire, while he upheld the principle of Honorable Poverty by serving the lower classes through his art, never staying long in one place. He fell in love with the Naishou Province, which was suffering times of strife. Hideyo used his poems to to bring the plight of the common people to the attention of the Governor. [1]
