The Soshi family was one of the families of the Scorpion Clan [1] founded by the male shugenja named Soshi. [2]

A family of shugenja, had mastered the subtle art of calling upon the kami silently. Some claimed the Soshi wielded the shadows themselves as a weapon or a shield. [1]
Holdings[]
Upriver of Journey's End on the Gold River lied the lands of the Soshi family, a mountainous domain that was difficult to access, seemingly with scant resources. The founder of the Soshi family selected these provinces to rule with intention, as their inaccessibility and undesirability make them the ideal location to pursue their spiritual research. The Castle of Organization was their ancestral seat of power, [3] and one of their provinces was the Yuma Province. [2]
