Soshi Nahoko was a courtier of the Scorpion Clan and sensei of the Shosuro Champion Dojo.
Early Years[]
Nahoko was the third-born child of Daimyo Soshi Uidori. She quickly realized her father would set her destiny as the beauty wife who would bear children for her husband. She would nevcr have access to the privileges her brothers, even her younger brothers, would enjoy. Nahoko told herself that she would be the sole architect of her life:, that she would be the mistress of her destiny. [1]
Imperial Court[]
Nahoko did manage to have his father postpone the wedding he had arranged for her until she turned 21. Nahoko was already considered one of the most gifted courtier of her generation. Serving at the Imperial Court she learned how to manipulate others, and how to use her stunning beauty to sway men's affections. [2]
Murdering her Husband[]
Nahoko agreed to marry out of obligation to her family. Her husband died in what appeared to be an unfortunate accident when she was only 27 years old, but she chose not to remarry. [3]
Sensei[]
Nahoko began to train in kenjutsu as well as iaijutsu as student of the Shosuro Champion Dojo. Deceitfully charismatic and dangerously beautiful, she had an uncanny ability to sway men to her cause. Eventually Nahoko was appointed as sensei of the school, and in 1168 she was in her mid-forties, and divided her time between the courts and the school. [3]
