Silk
Silk was mainly produced in the Islands of Spice and Silk from certain insect larvae which formed cocoons and it was woven into textiles. [1] Silk from the Badger Clan was very prized in the Empire. [2] The Asahina family only wove silk from cocoons where the silkworms were unharmed. This made Asahina silk rare and expensive – those of religious devotion could wear it guilt free. [3]
