Shun was a Moon Cultist.
Demeanor[]
Shun was an enigmatic peasant who firmly believed that every mortal's path to Enlightenment was their own. As Onnotangu was fundamentally important in the creation of the world, so in order to truly understand the world—a prerequisite of Enlightenment—one must correspondingly understand Lord Moon. Shun was charming but pushy, and considered herself to be the savior of those who lacked her insight. Her belief in the powers of Onnotangu came from her inherent shugenja abilities, specifically ones related to water. Shun also possessed the ability to temporarily grant others access to her powers. [1]
Moon People[]
Shun was in a village when a young disoriented man appeared. He had spoken no words and had a large, splotchy, curved birthmark covering much of his abdomen and lower back. She immediately recognized him as a Moon People, those who were born in the physical Moon, children of Onnotangu and Lady Sun, who occasionally walked to the Mortal Realm to bless them. Tensions rose in the village as mysterious things begin to happen, and the headman, Taro, requested a group of samurai to resolve the situation. Shun organized a group of villagers to defend the perceived messenger from the gods. Eventually the stranger left the village and vanished. [2]
