The Shrine to the Honored Fallen recorded the names of samurai who had fallen in service to the Empire. It was built in resemblance of the Shrine of Fallen Heroes in Toshi Ranbo, by order of Imperial Regent Utaku Zo Sia during Winter Court in 1199. [1]
