The Shrine of Bishamon's Gift was built at Kyuden Asako by Asako Hidehira to commemorate his victory in the Battle of Bishamon's Favor over the Lion. Hidehira placed within the sacred housing of the shrine the broken spear of his grandfather, which the Phoenix had wielded in the personal duel that decided the victory against the Lion commander.
