Shosuro Shuji was an actor of the Scorpion Clan.
Peasant Birth[]
Shuji was a child of peasants, who had good looks and extraordinary agility. He was bought by the Scorpion and joined the Shosuro as a superb addition to the ranks of their actors. When he learned his youngest sister was asking for stories of the Colonies, Shuji felt an urge to visit the Colonies himself. [1]

Shuji was sent to the Second City to offer amusement to the courts. The head of the Scorpion Embassy, Bayushi Ayaka, set Shuji to seduce the head of the Crab Embassy, Hida Kotone, who welcomed the dalliance. Kotone had a subtle mind and a complex personality, and Shuji fell in love. Ayaka pressed him to manipulate Kotone into taking direct action against the Spider Clan. [2]
