Shosuro Fujun and his brother Shosuro Hodei worked at Ryoko Owari Toshi for a bandit and Maho-tsukai, Chizaro, who dealt with oni. When their hideout was found by a group of samurai Fujun surrendered. He begged for his life, and in return Fujun betrayed his master. He was too afraid of the dark bargains Chizaro was performing.
