Shiro Henka was built near the Honored Treaty City in 1158 by Shiba Aikune with the power of the Isawa's Last Wish, to be used as defensive position in the Dragon-Phoenix War. The first years it was more a simple barracks than a castle.
Strategical Location[]
When the Imperial City in 1160 shifted from Otosan Uchi to Toshi Ranbo the castle increased its strategical importance, being located near the Capital. It was used by Kaneka as his headquarters when he joined the Phoenix Clan. [1]
