Shiro Akodo (TCG)

Shiro Akodo

Shiro Akodo, [1] also known as Loyalty Castle, [2] and as Castle Akodo, was the seat of power of the Akodo family and the Lion Clan. [3]

Appearance[]

Akodo built his keep a mere day's ride from Otosan Uchi, across mostly flat land, so that the Lion Clan Champion might swiftly respond to any invasion of the capital. There, the Akodo maintained their largest staging grounds and retinue of smithies. As a keep built for staging military campaigns, not even the Akodo Daimyō's personal estate was located on the grounds. The castle itself was austere and underdecorated, its labyrinthian layout designed to befuddle invaders, its steps famously uneven so as to trip rushing attackers. [4]

Tradition[]

Loyalty Castle (TCG)

Loyalty Castle

Once a year, Loyalty Castle hosted the grandest Go tournament in the Empire, crowning Rokugan's Go champion after a week-long competition. [5]
