Shinjo Fuyari was a cunning man who, through skill and wit, fought his way to a high ranked position in the Unicorn Clan army. With this new power came his corruption. He was dismissed after he made unwarrented attacks againsts the Dragon Clan and Crab Clan. [1]
Meeting Nanashi[]
He rallied a large army of ronin and ashigaru to attack the Unicorn in an attempt to attack, capture, and then fortify Village by the Sleeping River. From there, he would attack City between the Rivers and the Unicorn trade route. This never happened, however - when he was on the march, he ran into a large force of ronin led by a hooded figure. The hooded figure referred to himself as Nanashi - "no name" - and convinced Fuyari to stop his silly venture. [2]
Nanashi Mura[]
Fuyari traveled with his army looking for a clan that would allow him to set up a village. The Dragon accepted him and allowed him to set up a village on the southern parcel of Dragon land. Fuyari died shortly after the village of Nanashi Mura was founded, named after the ronin that put him back on the path of honor. Fuyari's ashes were housed in a shrine in Nanashi Mura. [2]
