Shiba Yinobu was the grandson of the Kami Shiba, and younger brother of Shiba Kaigen.
Dai-Chikai Dojo[]
To end the debate regarding the oaths and duties of the Shiba family the two brothers decided to each found a dojo. One, the Eternal Phoenix Dojo was founded by Kaigen, and the other, Dai-Chikai Dojo was founded by Yinobu. Yinobu believed that the Shiba were to guard each Isawa individually, where Kaigen believed they should protect the Phoenix lands and people. [1]
Sensei[]
Yinobu became the first sensei of the school, and developed nearly all the techniques himself. [2]
