Shiba Sukazu was the hatamoto and brother of Shiba Ujimitsu, the Phoenix Clan Champion. Sukazu held the death poem of his brother during Ujimitsu's funeral. Ofushikai did not select him as the next Champion, and Shiba Tsukune was eventually chosen. [1]
