Seppun was one of the original followers of Hantei-no-Kami and the founder of the Seppun family. [1]
Fall of the Kami[]
Seppun was a holy woman of her tribe, the first who met the eight Kami when they fell from the Celestial Heavens at Seppun Hill. [2] Seppun was so moved by the sudden arrival of the Kami that she offered herself and her followers as servants. The Kami Hantei accepted her offer, making them the first mortal followers of the Kami. [3] This meeting between Seppun and Hantei marked the first year of the Imperial Calendar. [4]
