Ros'ku, Tale-Chaser for Rokugani, was a Nezumi Rememberer of the Tattered Ear who lived in the Great Home in the Shinomen Forest. [1]
Kikyo[]
A Transcendent reached Ros'ku in his dreams a showed him a fallen samurai with a Crab armor, which he managed to find in the Cave of Bloody Ghost Fire within the dreaded Shadowed Swamps. The removed the sode from the armor and escaped, but this action awakened a Gashadokuro, a construct of bone and malice was the embodied anger and resentment of those who died unknown, which began to haunt the Tattered Ear. Ros'ku moved to Maemikake where Ros'ku was granted the permission to travel to the Hida Palace. The Crab believed the armor would be the Kikyo, a lost nemuranai forged by Hida Osano-wo himself and lost in the 10th century in an ill-fated expedition led by General Hida Chuku. [1]
Crab Expedition[]
Ros'ku presented the armor piece to the Crab Clan champion, Hida Kisada, who ordered his son Hida Sukune to command a force with the purpose of recover the rest of the armor. In return for the nezumi's aid, they would remove the threat Ros'ku had awakened. The expedition faced many threats in their way to the Great Home, such the appearance of an Onikuma, which was dispatched by the Tattered Ear Dreamer and leader, Moongazer, who vanished with the monster into Dream. The new leader, Mist-Walker, supported the Crab expedition to the Cave with nezumi warriors under the command of Tchhickchuk. Once they realized that the way to the Shadowed Swamps was not possible to be found, the Kuni Daimyō Kuni Yori conducted a ritual in which he dared to question the path to the Cave to Kansen, malevolent tainted spirits. The group eventually reached the cave and faced the Gashadokuro. Sukune donned Kikyo and commanded the monster to remain there, never to live that place, which ended it a threat to the Tattered Ear.
