River Quarter
The River Quarter of Medinaat al-Salaam was located East, flanking the river Nahr'umar on both sides. It provide free access to the river, and it was used for transportation of goods to the mercantile districts. [1] It was one of the safest quarters of Medinaat al-Salaam. [2]
Floods[]
The river Nahr'umar made a flood every ten years, and the River Quarter was prepared for it. [3]
