Pitfall
The Pitfall was far and away the simplest of Rokugani traps, consisting of a hole (often lined with sharpened stakes if there was sufficient time) covered with foliage or other concealment. The goal was to trick an opponent or prey into falling into the pit, maiming them or killing them outright. [1]
