An Onikuma
Onikuma, demon bears, were malevolent spirits, inhabitant of mountain caves. Giant, fast, and territorial, onikuma could easily rip horses in half and crush a samurai's armor like tissue paper. [1] Several times larger than a typical bear, the onikuma walked on their hind legs and were able to carry off cattle, horses, and even boulders one-handed. With thick fur like iron wool and claws the size of short swords, they were every bit as dangerous, but these creatures had no relation to the Shadowlands. [2]
