Old Prickly was one of the so-called “goblin shamans,” a wizened little creature who had remained dangerous despite the years. He only mastered a few mahō spells, but that was enough to command the respect of his fellow goblins. One of the command officers in the Horde of Kazanagan no Oni, his troops were mostly goblins but included a few lesser Shadowlands creatures. He also had access to “magic mud,” a flammable paste that he used to cover some goblins and send them forward as flaming, shrieking living weapons. The Horde attempted to overrun the Crab defenses near the Third Watchtower of the Kaiu Wall but they were repelled by the forces of Hida Tomonatsu. [1]
