The Old Man of the Mountain was the leader of the Assassins.
Assassins[]
Hassan became the founder and patriarch of the cursed lineage of the Assassins. [1] He was formerly known as the Prince, son of the Sultan of Medinaat al-Salaam. [2]
Cursed[]
Hassan was the lover of Hanan Talibah, who became the Caliph. She somehow manipulated Hassan into slaying his father the Sultan. The Grey Woman, his father's lover, cast a curse upon him, which with time was instrumental in the creation of the Assassins. [2]
Order of the Mountain[]
In the Hidden Keep of the Assassins Hassan created the Order of the Mountain. His Children fought a silent war across the streets of Medinaat al-Salaam, a Blood Feud that waged a war of revenge for centuries against the Immortal Caliph. [3]
New Old Man[]
After an internal fight between different factions Haroun, son of the first Old Man, took his father's title. [4] [5]
