Old Man's Owl
The Old Man's Owl was well known as the faithful companion of the first Old Man of the Mountain. It used to advise if there was any danger nearby. [1]
Carrying a message[]
After the Old Man was killed in 1132, the Grey Woman sent the owl to his adopted daughter, Adira. It carried a card in its beak, a message that the curse of the Assassins had ended. [2]
