Kakita Osamu was a singer of the Crane Clan who accepted the gifts of the darkness becoming Ninube Osamu, the Voice Thief, a shugenja of the Spider Clan.
Crane Clan[]
Kakita Osamu was a great singer who gave performances before the greatest of lords, and the Emperor himself. For first time he was invited to go to the Dragon lands, but he arrived when the winter had begun and Osamu stuck in the mountains for the whole season. He fell sick and his voice was ruined. [1]
Falling into the Darkness[]
Osamu whispered to the darkness, asking for his voice back, and his plea was answered by the Shadow Dragon. He became Ninube Osamu, and began to take the voice of those whose voice he liked. The villagers of the Nazo Mori region called the creature as the Voice Thief. [1]
