The Nameless Prophet was founder of a new Empire in the Cradle of the World which would be known as the Qamarist Caliphate. His true name was unknown, to shield him from Name Magic.
Rempet Empire[]
The Nameless Prophet was a man who came to the broken Rempet Empire, and brought new teachings and a new way of life to both human and djinn, which eventually brought peace to the region. His first followers took on the mantle of the al-Qamari, and the new faith became known as the Qamarism. [1]
New Empire[]
The prophet founded a capital for his new empire in what was later known as the City of God in the Mountains of Shem, the mountain range that was named after the Sun God, Shem. He led his followers down into the valley of the Queen's River, converting the Nehiri tribes and city states hee found there by prayer or by strength of arms. Soon Qamarism had spread across the entire land between the two rivers of the Cradle of the World, and throughout the Mountains of Shem and the Mountains of Qamar. [1]
Death and First Caliph[]
When he died at an advanced age, the prophet was buried in the City of God. His succesor was chosen among his followers, a wise thinker, who became the first Caliph, and so the Qamarist Caliphate was created in the 6th century. [1]
The Crow[]
Speaking the true name of the Prophet was forbidden, to shield him from Name Magic. This prohibition was often interpreted to extend to his likeness in works of art. The crow was depicted to represent his teachings in many works such pictures or statues like The Djinn Hear the Prophet's Word, depicting a djinni contemplating a crow perched on its hand. [1]
