The Naadam was a three-day competition following the annual Unicorn Clan gempukku ceremony. The competition tested archery, horse racing and wrestling. The competition was open to people of all classes in the Unicorn lands. Samurai who won the competitions were granted important promotions, heimin who won were given enough koku to live an entire year without working, and ashigaru who won might be made low-class samurai.
