The Mountains of Shem, named after the Sun God of the Rempet Empire, Shem, was a mountain range located in the Cradle of the World. The City of God was the place where the Nameless Prophet established the capital of the new Empire made on top of the ruins of the broken Rempet Empire. Across these mountains to the west lied the city-states of the Sogdans. [1]
