Mountain Song, also known as Voice of the Elements, was a mountain in the Dragon lands was named after the song made by the wind, which made a rising and falling tone as it blew among the surrounding peaks. This song came to be connected with an obscure quote from the Tao of Shinsei, a kōanEnlightenment cN be found in the song of stone, if only one can learn to listen. In a nearby plateau was built the Mountain Song Temple. Agasha scholars concluded that a particular confluence of winds from the east, off of the distant sea, and from the north, strike the peaks surrounding the plateau such that they act like the breath blown into a flute. The resulting tones ranged from high-pitched chiming sounds, to low, bass rumbles. [1]

Silent[]

In 1123 the Mountain Song had fallen silent, at the same moment than a peasant woman named Senzai was attacked and nearly mauled to death by Iwa, a sōhei who believed the maiden was an heretic of the Perfect Land Sect who should be eliminated. Senzai survived and eventually she was exposed as the reincarnation of Shinsei, the Little Teacher. At this very moment, the Mountain Song resumed. [2]
