Preambles[]
Awakening Prophecy[]
Following a prophecy the Moto challenged the Caliph's control over Medinaat al-Salaam. [1]
The Senpet[]
As part of their alliance with the Caliph, the Senpet had to defend her from any outside threats. In 1130 on a routine surveillance of the lands surrounding the Jewel of the Desert, the Senpet met a group armed and headed in Medinaat al-Salaam's direction. The general Abresax ordered his men to attack them. The group was the exiled Scorpion Clan and their escort, who were quickly defeated and taken as slaves. [2]
First Encounter[]
When the Senpet were returning from their victory over the Scorpion Clan, the Moto descended upon them. A sudden sandstorm swept up around, and the will of the Lady washed them away into the sand. [3] As the Moto charged the Senpet army, the sand beneath them opened and wretched. [4] The Senpet riders came from the west and Senpet chariots charged from the east. They turned the horde about, but there was nowhere left to run. [5] Their first engagement was indecisive, but the Senpet learned much of the Moto methods and tactics. [6]
Moto Oasis Attacked[]
The senpet felt the Moto were a menace, so when they found the Moto Oasis its wells were poisoned, as punishment for the attack. [7] Many Moto died, including civil women and children. [8] The Moto became the prey and the armies of the Senpet Pharaoh hunted down the nomads. [9]
Erba'a Alliance[]
They Moto allied with other forces of the Burning Sands in the Erba'a Alliance to fight the Immortal Caliph Hanan Talibah, her Khadi guards, and her allies, the hated Senpet. They began the assaul of Medinaat al-Salaam, the Shattering of the Jewel. [10]
End of the Conflict[]
The Alliance was defeated during the events of the Awakening. The release of the Goddess Shinjo and the death of the Caliph changed the equilibrium of forces and alliances, which followed with the end the war. [11]
